Curving dried botanical stems photographed in warm natural light for Mabel.

MABEL

mushroom supplements

Art Direction / Photography

For Mabel, a mushroom supplement brand created for women, I developed a visual language that brings product photography into a more imaginative space. Natural light, botanical materials, drawing, and colour were combined to reflect the brand’s connection with well-being, intuition, and the natural world.

Between nature and imagination

Photography and hand-drawn elements come together around the products, extending the organic forms of mushrooms, roots, and leaves. The illustrations introduce movement and a more intuitive dimension to the still life compositions.

A tactile sense of well-being

Warm earth tones and natural materials ground the series, while subtle touches of colour reflect the individuality of the packaging.

Each composition was carefully constructed to give the products a clear presence within a tactile and organic environment.

A sense of wonder

Unexpected details, suspended forms, and subtle shifts of light bring a dreamlike quality to the images. The result is a visual world in which the natural and the imagined can coexist.
