Art Direction / Photography

For Dfine Fabrics, I photographed a campaign exploring the relationship between textiles and the body. Movement, natural light and restrained colour bring out the softness, structure and weight of the material.

Working from a concept developed by Kvint Studio, I shaped the art direction and photography to give the fabrics an intimate visual presence, allowing their qualities to emerge through gesture.

The challenge

The aim was to show more than the surface of a textile. The images needed to suggest how it moves, touches the skin and responds to the body.

Photographing the material in motion and in stillness gives designers and fashion brands a sense of its character beyond what a fabric sample can show.

Concept

The series moves between expressive poses and quieter moments. Fabric follows the body in motion, then settles into folds and contours that draw attention to its texture.

​

Each image holds a moment of contact between material and skin, translating Kvint Studio’s concept into a visual story with a physical presence.
